The I/O daughterboard on my x201 Frankenpad decided to die a couple days ago, wouldn't POST until it was gone. Windows recognizes there's no physical audio interface but there's something lurking in the firmware or Intel's management engine that makes it BSOD about once a day. It's just infrequent enough to where I'm putting off fixing the daughterboard or patching the BIOS.
