    You can play matchmaking for fun just fine, not if you want to play seriously at a higher level (I.e. higher than global, faceit lvl 5+, serious team comms and pugs)

    Honestly I would just wait for CS2. CSGOs matchmaking is the absolute worst. The community browser has also been taken over completely by redirect bots. Paying for faceit or esea will work but...yeah.

    CS2 is coming and will hopefully fix some of these issues

    People rant constantly about Valorant's anti cheat (for good reason) because it's Chinese but never this. I wonder how people talking about Valorant's privacy issues care about privacy.

      Good reason as in ring 0 anticheat is bad, not as in anything that comes out of china is bad
