I think people here are usually pretty good about that. I'm southern and the southerners I hate the most all live in comfy suburbs and own Toyota dealerships.

A lot of wealthy, comfortable southerners like to cosplay as poor though. They'll wear overalls and a cowboy hat. They'll drive a huge truck as if wearing the distorted skin of a working class simulacrum.
