Eh if I join any party its going to be PSL. It's a shame that CPUSA gets to have all the cool international recognition, but PSL is the only ML party that does anything in my area.

Assuming you're in Baltimore, seeing your username and all, I know PCUSA has a club in Maryland. So I'd say give them both a ring and see which one gets back to ya first.

Oh I didn't look and thought this was a different comment from someone from CPUSA. Still I think PSL is the better option. They're the only ML group that really does activist work around here, or at least they're always there when something is happening. Their membership is pretty small in Bmore but are intaking enough new members to double their ranks, including people I'm friends with. They're also the only leftist org in Baltimore that has a real connection in the most marginalized populations. Their anti-slumlord campaigns bring revolutionary ideals to the hood while most leftist groups stay in areas with lots of white students.

I've heard that PCUSA is more active in rural areas and small towns, which is kinda interesting. No idea how that's facilitated but it sounds dope

The main difference between PCUSA and PSL as I've seen so far is that PSL tends to engage in spontaneous acts with revolutionary energy without the organizational efforts of a disciplined Marxist-Leninist party, whereas PCUSA tends to move more with more deliberation and coordination between the central party and the branches, and with the Party as a whole with the various associations and organizations they collaborate with to accomplish set goals.

That said, you do you. I'm about as much of an expert on the material conditions of Baltimore and the status of the organization of comrades in the region as I am an expert on molecular physics - that is to say I've got no idea and math hurts my head.
