Tbf Marx or Lenin wouldn't be fond of modern day Russia or China because Russia is a capitalist hellhole built on top of the corpse of the USSR. Meanwhile China is still not pressing the Socialism button

Yeah and I don't think anyone here is supporting Russia? I always lose my mind with how these people put words in our mouths. Not wanting to do war against a nuclear power doesn't mean we support said nuclear power.

As for China, I don't know how critical most Hexbear posters' support for them is. At the end of the day it doesn't matter much if the support is critical or not, the important thing is to oppose the manufacturing of consent. And I don't trust any leftist who doesn't understand that the bare minimum is to oppose the State Dept's line on the enemies of the US, because if we swallow it unopposed we are failing to do even the bare minimum of proletarian internationalism.

Well those are people hoping Russia wins the war, which I think is probably preferable to a NATO victory. I meant people who think Russia is some model to follow or anything along those lines.

Two weeks ago I called Putin "one of the butchers of the Soviet Union" and a "brain-dead neolib" got thirty plus upvotes

Just cause we want him to win against an alliance that is literally normalizing neo-nazism doesn't mean we wouldn't cheer if he was overthrown in a socialist uprising

Fuck the oligarchs, but especially fuck the neo-nazi ones, this isn't a hard position to maintain
