I have when people use the rhetorical trick of dressing up their opinions with "honestly" as if presenting some brave truth instead of a fucking opinion.

"Things bad but attempting to change them is worse, actually" with badge-humping is not really that complex or original a narrative arc nor one with much emotional depth, no matter how many feelz the had about it because it fit his enlightened centrism ideology and probably even helped to shape it.
It was capeshit trying hard to seem more mature. That's the only difference it had with the MCU as far as I'm concerned.
