I saw Tigran play a few solo sets at a jazz club several years ago and the dude absolutely killed it. The second night a bunch of younger people wearing 90's nu metal style jncos and shit sat in the front table right next to his piano and he played a totally different set including improvising on metal classics and beatboxing. Shit was wild.
There's a lot of hype about fusion, but he just does it naturally to the extent that trying to describe it as something like "armenian folk hip hop metal jazz" just feels insulting
