I genuinely enjoyed my experience with this article. Nothing to do with the article itself, but this is what I just read:

The mainstream media writes thousands of articles about celebrity bullshit, and they make so much money off of it. Meanwhile, articles about climate change—

Millions turn to the Guardian every day for fearless, independent journalism. We have no shareholders, no billionaire owner and no commercial or political bosses. Just the determination and passion to bring readers independent reporting on the most important news stories.

Help power the Guardian’s journalism for the years to come, whether with a small sum or a larger one. If you can, please support us on a monthly basis from just £2. It takes less than a minute to set up, and you can rest assured that you’re making a big impact every single month in support of open, independent journalism. Thank you.

Shit, dude. I wonder what the problem is. thonk

frothingfash: "Strong men create good times, good times create weak men, weak men create hard times. Hard times create strong men."

My brother in Christ, it's the bourgeoisie who are creating the hard times. I never got to experience the good times, you did. Porky decided that we should all have funko pops over clean air or drinkable water. People mutter that the left is all about being leeches, but one group of people have gotten their fortune off of causing problems for society and then getting praised for it by losers who prefer instant gratification over clean air.

I'll spare everyone a wall of text rant, but I'm tired of hearing on how porky-happy is some infallible technocrat that knows what's best for all of us, and anyone who questions him is some dumb rube.
