This shit is so bizarre lmao. They tweeted that after they had already won the game, and the offside call in question benefited Atlas (NYCFC had a stoppage time goal called back after a VAR review)

The translated tweet:

"This shot is clearer than water, the offside happens in the first play. It is unfortunate how 'influencers' and 'analyst' media people manipulate by generating ideas of 'supposed help', but remembering what Goebbels, Nazi Minister of Information said, they apply it perfectly: 'lie, lie, lie that something will remain, the bigger the lie the more people will believe it'"

    Goebbels on lyinggeordi-yes

But seriously what the fuck goes through someone's mind to pull a fucking quote from Goebbels? More proof Stalin shouldn't have stopped in Berlin.

That quote has been used many times, even by Leftists. When people use it, it's not supporting Goebbels or the Nazis, but showing your opponents are experts at using lies to manufacture truthes.

I wish people would understand the corollary of the quote: propagandists would eventually start believing in their own lies because they hear themselves say it so many times.
