A supposed "AI" subreddit that has absolutely no idea how "AI" works.
So many "ideas guys" think they've invented something by coming up with the idea to use AI with something else, while having zero idea of how to accomplish it. It's the same guys that had the idea to use Blockchain with everything.
The only guy to come up with something useful with a block chain is Linus Torvalds with
git
.A Merkel tree is a block chain. The distributed consensus systems of crypto exist on top of the block chain. They exist to have a common consensus on what the current state of the block chain is.
my new idea for computer business where we do a business with a computer
I will giggle when a chatbot breaks up with a... whatever these people are
more credulous and gullible
lmao of course there is, it's called /r/StarCitizen
Though admittedly /r/ChatGPT is indeed up there
I so sincerely regret buying into this sort of shit when I was a teenager. Realizing you're absolutely gonna die one day is bad enough on its own, but it's even worse when you once had a high degree of hope and confidence in the idea that a cure for aging will exist before you get the chance to die of old age.
Not that I expect to even reach old age anymore, but that's a different disappointment.
And there's essentially no way it's gonna be accessible. Either they invent it for rich fucks and they become unimaginably powerful, or socialism happens and they invent it for everyone -- but then most of the world is not gonna be on board with the immediately changing moral circumstances around natalism. Obviously anti-natalism is fucking idiotic now, but that all turns on its head if people all of a sudden only die of accidents at the age of 450
There are very few human beings I viscerally detest more than Michio Kaku
