Also anyone else that isn't a ameri-burger-ican can chip in too.

You, beloved reader, observe the image above for a second, paying specific attention to the bready-squishy bits known as the "bums", I'm sorry I mean "Buns" - no that's wasn't a slip-up I did that on purpose!

ahem

So back to the main topic, I trust by now you've looked at the above image and noted that the bready-squichy bits are labeled as "the crown" for the more rounded and breadier half thats just absolutely caked with seeds whereas the half of the bun that's less flat than me is called the "heel"...for some reason.

With these two important bits of knowledge firmly embedded in the forbidden yogurt that is your brain, I wish to pose upon you a very important and intimate question...

DO YOU, AMERICAN - OR SOME OTHER NATIONALITY THAT HAS THE MISFORTUNE TO BE ABLE TO PURCHASE THEM - EAT YOUR HAMBURGERS WITH THE CROWN TOWARDS THE GROUND OR WITH THE HEELS OF THE BURGER RESTING ON YOUR THUMBS?

TRANSLATION: DO YOU EAT WITH HEEL UP OR CROWN DOWN?

If it's a thin, fast-food style burger, I usually eat it crown down.

If it's a thicker restaurant or home-make burger, I usually eat it heel up.

I have no idea why I do it this way, but this is my main pattern.
