Sure, they are. That doesn't make you left-leaning, it means they're right-wing and you're centrist-leaning. Left and right wing politics are an absolute measure, not relative. Reagan isn't left-wing compared to Mussolini, they're both far-right politicians, it's just an (arguable) difference in terms of how far to the right.
