Just use Vimeo, subtitles are really simple to do there. Literally just click closed captions tab, upload the subs, toggle them on, you're done.
We used to till our accounts got banned. The current backups are a result of that. I've still got a freebie burner account, but between the hosting limits and playing whack-a-mole with the algos we've stayed away from it.
