i won't say he's a comrade, his politics are somewhat unusual. it's like soc-dem but libertarian-socdem. it really comes off like a ron paul kind of framework but progressive.
he actually a pretty exhaustive campaign website with detailed policy positions. if you look over it you will see what i am saying. it's not socialist fare at all, maybe more like old-school bull moose progressivism.
