michael-laugh Yea bro, good call. May as well just shut down the company, WFH is over! Zoom doesn't need to exist anymore.

Holy shit how stupid can you possibly be to not realise how bad it is optically for your company that only exists because of WFH to be an active detractor.

Hmmm, doesn't seem like I can quantify that result into a number that will be on my next quarterly's earning result or balance sheet. Guess it doesn't matter

Gotta be honest their whole "Use our shit for free up to 45 mins" policy always felt like burning cash to get market share. I don't think you and I are the target group of zoom.

Video conferences existed long before covid, but few companies used them as it required someone high up enough the chain to not think spending loads of money to send someone across the globe for "work" was a good idea and those mostly seem like the same people making the calls. But that's a lot harder to argue now.

Besides, if you got one CEO needing to adress his employees from his retreat about how they're all fired or something, that's still a hell of a video call.

Honestly, Zoom is probably being replaced with Microsoft Teams for most companies since they're already paying for it. I'm guessing Zoom's main customer base is using them for larger scale webcasts and stupid shit like that.
