That IS a questional choice alone from a security perspective. Tons of Ammo etc would be one thing...sending their "whole"? airforce seems a bit drastic.
Slovakia’s Russia-friendly government accused its predecessor of treason and abuse of public office over military aid sent to Ukraine. The Defense Ministry filed a criminal complaint against the previous government, specifically against former Defense Minister Jaroslav Nad, saying that the caretaker cabinet didn’t have the right to make such a fundamental decision, which left Slovakia without any air defense after it sent all its 13 MiG-29 jets to Ukraine. Prime Minister Robert Fico has pledged to halt military aid to Kyiv after returning to power last year. The previous administration led by Eduard Heger, a staunch ally of Kyiv’s resistance to Russian aggression, had failed to win a confidence vote in parliament and was in caretaker mode even before it decided to send the warplanes to Ukraine. “I personally believe that Jaroslav Nad is a traitor and he should not get away with it,” Deputy Defense Minister Igor Melicher told reporters in Bratislava on Friday.
