      I'm convinced this is only getting any kind of coverage again because various governors and stayed are trying to implement mask bans, clearly for invasive facial recognition and tracking, and the media can't really cover it (either in opposition or to try and make it sound like it's about covid stiff, not surveillance) without the context of Covid.
