It's kind of astonishing how hard they're trying to remove one laborer from the "drive people from one point to another" industry. Even one "independent contractor" barely managing to eek some money out of a taxi medallion is too much.
It's a shame each driver can only transport 1-4 people at a time, imagine the savings if we could transport a dozen people at a time, we could fire 2/3 of the drivers!
