What is "normal"?
I look at the ground a lot, and my dad used to tell me to pick up my feet. Over rough terrain, I seem to trip less than most people, but over pavement that has the occasional wonky brick I seem to trip a lot.
Sandals and thongs (flipflops) make it worse.
