(The HRT for the chuds is just extra testosterone injections)

Honestly I avoid guntube content, the people who watch guntube content, and keep double non electronic hearing protection on when I go to the range or a match. Ignorance is bliss.

Accusing chuds of doing HRT (steroids), now I am going to be chuckling about that for a looong time though

American gun owners are some of the least funny people I’ve known. They’re basically band kids with expensive toys. All their memes are the same, and even their “ironic schizophrenic skinwalker” memes have been beaten to death and is no different than any other facebook meme. Most subcultures can evolve to post-ironic humor but it seems like gun culture is stuck on this simpleton tier humor

Let me save you time and list all the memes and jokes you’ll ever encounter:

      • WHEN THE ATF AGENT KNOCKS ON YOUR DOOR
      • WHEN THE ATF AGENT SHOOTS YOUR DOG
      • WHEN YOU HAVE BOATING ACCIDENT
      • FUNNY AUTOMATIC FIRING (ITS FUNNY BECAUSE ITS ILLEGAL)
      • LE SKIN WALKER
      • ROOF KOREANS
      • OPERATOR LARP
      • GOMMUNISM NO GUN
      • AMMOSEXUAL
      • I IDENTIFY AS A [WEAPON]

Non yankoid gun owners, please tell me your culture is funnier than this. Please.

I was on /k/ when those memes got created. I was at one of the first IRL /k/ meetups in circa 2013(?)

The only good meme that /k/ ever made were the ones about keeping /pol/ out of /k/.

It was like 10 years ago. It was about as expected. Some unsafe gun handling that made me leave, but I made some long lasting friendships with a couple of the non-CHUDs who went.

Being able to just hang out with a couple people that share a mutual hobby is nice. That's how bad the alienation in America is.

Damn this hits hard, it’s so difficult to just organically meet like minded people irl because the only interaction most people have with “others” is passing by them on the way to work or running errands. Finding out about the rare niche hobby meetup online (and living in a densely populated enough area that they exist) is the only real opportunity to actually share what you enjoy with others

Appreciate the recommendation but her content didn't really appeal to me. It's not her fault, I'm just one of those IPSC shooting weirdos.

Yes, in addition to repeatedly platforming Larry Vickers (an incredibly racist Rhodesia stan) and a book by Azov Nazis, he ended up breaking a longtime friendship with InRange's Karl Kasada because Ian tried to stay apolitical and ended up throwing Karl to the chud wolves, refusing to back his friend up when he was getting attacked on some gun forums because it would jeopardize a deal with the company that owns the forums

I just think it's interesting how he collaborates with a Rhodesia larper and has connections in South Africa. I recall a twitter thread by Karl InRangeTV where he talked about this, but I dont think he mentioned Ian ForgottenWeapons by name, but it was heavily implied.

Yes, had to pull a collab with a Banderite shortly before Slava Ukraini

There was a falling out after ar15.com's owner who also owns Brownell's backed transphobic bigotry on the forum after Inrange Karl took issue with it. Brownell's was selling the What Would Stoner Do rifle that Forgotten Weapons guy and Karl collab'd on, but during this drama they dropped the deal, and liquidated the WWSD rifles with promo code "triggered". Karl asked FW guy to back him but all FW said was something lik "i look forward to doing business with brownell's in the future."
