The "piston or broomstick one" dumbs down the argument quite a bit, imo.
And the other guy got way too mad at you, but it's one of the reasons I think this site would benefit from a /r/menslib type section because it allows people to talk about men's issues in the greater scope of things without devolving into either being a idpol v wokeness debate that's just useless.
