      My thinking was that this emoji could be used when one is attempting to be House-like, when one conceives of oneself as acting House-like, or when someone else has said something House-like — either genuinely, or one's comparison could be more sarcastic. Being House-like might be in terms of simple dry sarcasm, or seeing through someone's lie, or it might be in terms of unorthodox medical advice, or perhaps some combination of the above. The "unorthodox medical advice" could also be more metaphorical, regarding anything involving "diagnoses" and "prescriptions", such as politics or interpersonal relationships or book recommendations or anything really.

      Which I guess means that the core idea with this emoji is a wink to acknowledge that what one is saying is "so crazy it just might work".
