Not really true. Who ran against Biden? Dean Philips? Cenk Uygur? Those aren't real candidate. Also several states did not list any alternative candidates. North Carolina was the first to close ballot registration so that only Biden appeared on the ticket. The North Carolina ticket had 2 options Biden or "no preference". Also some states such as Florida refused to even hold a primary and declared Biden to be the de facto winner. There was no real primary. It was a farce so that now Biden can lie to people and say that 90% of Democrats want him to be the nominee.
I don't think an honest argument can be made about the quality/amount of ther candidates after the early announcers were instantly sidelined and ignored. At that point it is clear that the party apparatus would end your career and the safe bet is waiting a year or two for Biden to croak.
RFK is not running as a democrat, he's running as third party. Cornell West and Jill Stein are also third party. I'm talking about the democratic primary election. Marianne is a meme, she only got votes because she became a member of the uncommitted campaign where uncommitted wasn't an option.
