    Yknow, this was always a very real possibility since 2016, it's kinda weird it hadn't happened yet and it really should have been a contingency we always kept on the table. Catching this as a blindside is a bit embarrassing.

      I'm still amazed no racist "lone wolf" went after Obama trying to start some race war or whatever they hope would happen.

        I think the war on terror security system was used to nip those chances at the bud, what with Obama being a very useful tool and also the fact that his assassination would for sure spark a race war. I'm sure that on multiple levels Obama had the most security measures.

          But there's a lot of racist lone wolves in this country. It makes you wonder what the extent of the surveillance is that kept all of them from being able to do something wild.

            Part of it is Obama didn't do public rallies every week even outside of campaign season to create abundant opportunities to assassinate him.
