    SS agents

Why is nobody talking about the Ukrainian army and the IDF being involved in this?

lol, what, that sure looked like they waited patiently for the other guy to take his shot

Okay, so, the shooter was close enough that those gunshot sounds are nearly real time, he's really really close to the camera in gun terms. And the SS sniper reacts just before the shots are audible. So, assuming the audio is actually synced to the video, it really looks like he noticed teh shooter a fraction of a second before the shooter began firing.

Yeah, other witness reports kinda add to this. Security maybe just wasn't on the ball on this one. If the assassin couldn't hit Donny, it's reasonable other sharpshooters being made aware of the dude seconds before weren't setting up their best shots.

This is the second video I've watched of the shooting and the fact that the shooter lights him up when he says "If you really want to see something, they said take a look at what happened" is just... pure kinochefs-kiss

I do sharp shoot, there's plenty of reasons why that might have played out as it did. You really can't afford to miss, as we can all see...

My totally armchair guess is that either the sniper saw something and for whatever reason went off his scope to confirm it, or else his spotter saw something and the sniper got off his scope to see where the spotter was pointing.

But now that I think about it that doesn't make sense, they should have had a range card for everything within LOS. Idk, people do weird shit in the moment.

How do we know that from this clip? I would assume snipers being in a ready to fire position is standard procedure at events like this, no?

Could definitely be motivated behavior but at a couple hundred feet there's not much adjustment needed for a much different trajectory down field. We'll need more info and hopefully angles to put together what this agent was doing.

After the kneeling sniper startles or goes off scope, when he goes back to aim his rifle does seem to move a little to the left, but idk if that's bc he was aiming or panicking.
