Maybe my next game project will be making the game I thought I was in for when I saw the title "Biomutant"
Someone was making an RPG where you levelled up by stealing organs from people you killed and shoving them in to your torso for new abilities. Can't remember what it was called though.

This just reminds me of Phantasy Star 2 where one of the protagonsts is half monster and all that means is shes an anime girl with cat ears.

There's a subreddit called "monstergirls" and the monsters include monsters like elfs, short people, literally just some lady but she has a split tongue and yellow eyes, and Barbara, whose mom apparently fucked a dragon at some point in the past but you couldn't tell from looking at her.
is this the game with the weird anthropomorphic duck and pig on the cover, or the one that sounds like it should have the duck and pig on the cover but you're actually just a ratcat?
Fuck I had that exact same thought when I saw this. I had to go look it up: Biomutant is the latter one, while the former one is "Mutant Year Zero."
How about that one SNES game that had some old guy playing a banjo on the box cover but the actual game was about spaceships or something.
