That last two page spread is super interesting cuz it looks mirrored. Does it imply all these characters are going to be vying for the One Piece?
Also what happened with Saturn? Bonney and Luffy punched him to pieces?
Real theory: the monster bodies of the elders are some kind of projection and not their true physical forms.
Funnier theory: punching somebody so hard they're left with physical holes missing from their body is in line with cartoon logic, so it works. When Nika's cartoon logic field gets too far away, their body snaps back to the real world where being full of holes is extremely bad for your health.
on the double spread, it took me an embarrassingly long time to realize that the top four are the current yonkos and everyone else is just a major player in the movement of the world. i think everyone will be involved, but the mirroring i was looking for as well i'm less convinced exists now.
i think either saturn is going to die from this or we're about to find out that they aren't actually devil fruit users when he falls into the ocean nbd
True, I was just basing it on the paneling and that Luffy and Blackbeard were opposite each other.
