      I've watched a bunch of people play ds1 for the first time and not even once I've seen people go down that elevator shaft if not by accident. Ds1 is already obscure and difficult to get, but this one is too much even for that.

        I'm like 80% sure you can get to those ones just by taking the stairs up to the elevator and then falling down. I think you only need to ride the elevator to get to the crow's nest.

      it's a very easy target because so many games journalists are glorified advertisers for slop for children, and are very insecure about this fact, but for some reason the ones that get the most shit from gamergate guys are just enjoying video games wrong

        Yeah it really doesn't matter but I can see both sides of this

        On the one hand this is a chest you can get in the first half hour of the game both-sides but on the other hand I can see a lot of people just going "nope" to going that direction after getting killed by skeletons

      It's a side part of the starting area that you don't really have any particular reason to explore thoroughly. It is very missable.
