Rather boring and unoriginal “here’s how the Democrats can still win” article

Third paragraph is a completely unnecessary Lenin debunking or something idk

“There are decades when nothing happens, and weeks when decades happen,” Lenin is widely quoted as saying. In fact, he probably didn’t say it; please excuse my effort at fact-checking as a token pushback to our Leninist dialectic of exaggerations, deceptions and conspiracy theories that were all highlighted this week.

I’m really confused by the usage of the phrase Leninist dialectics here. Maybe someone smarter can parse it for me.

I’m a full-throated supporter of more aid to Ukraine, but I understand how left-behind Americans feel that Washington cares more about Ukrainians than it does about them.

As ButtBidet said, definitely being a snarky dick. But I think there’s also some signs here of the liberal intelligentsia realizing that their system of analysis is coming under fire, especially from the left, as not being useful to explain modern politics. So they’re lashing out against those questioning their perch as the dictators of worldview.
