    I'm pretty sure not allowing the arrest of legislators might have some undesirable consequences.

      This is what I'm referring to. If legislators can be arrested you just send the police to arrest the opposition whenever a vote comes up.

        Fair enough. Limited immunity is a good compromise.

        To be clear: charging a sitting legislator with felony rioting (which is itself a fucking wild charge) is a gross abuse of power to attack opposition.
