Garbage 86 Zionist 64 eats another L. Don't ever buy a new amd64 computer, don't ever give these losers more money then you have to, that includes AMD too don't ever buy their new "AI powered" chips, their current high-end gen chips can comfortably run AAA games on integrated graphics.

I wish a very yamcha to all (read: 2) western x86_64 companies.

The western chip monopoly is so cooked once China gets their process finely tuned in a few years. Loongson's first generation LoongArch chips can already compete with Intel's 11th and 12th generation offerings when the Intel chips are restricted to their respective base clock speeds (the LoongArch chips can't boost at the moment).

As soon as Coffee Lake/refresh came out I could tell Intel was gonna be cooked, so cooked. The ever-increasing sweating over their aging 14nm node and the failure to really bring 10nm to market, the skyrocketing TDPs, like I can remember when people thought a 125W Phenom was a big guy. Despite this they never quit dumping a socket after one or two generations, bad cooler/socket mounting, all the usual dogshit. Never been more Joever, like Netburst but worse.

they still can't bring 10 NM TO MARKET Are you kidding me I built my pc in 2021 and by then amd had 7nm for a couple of years

Well they had 10nm Ice Lake in laptops a few years ago, but yeah only dual and quad cores lmao. Their 10nm node seems to have failed lol. "Real men have fabs", they said.

this whole thing has really put a damper on the pog potential for lunar lake. was hoping to finally replace my college laptop (now literally falling apart at the hinge and chassis) come the fall but :/// maybe it'll be zen 5 for me instead

I never put that much pog potential on lunar lake since it was being marketed for "co-pilot+ pcs" and AI while the benchmarks I've seen from it don't justify the high price tag, it barely outperforms high class AMD cpus.

Leave it to a company to open a factory in Israel during the Gazan genocide to not know how to make computers that work.

do we have any info on pricing yet? regardless there's some very attractive benchmarking on /r/hardware regarding efficiency gains where it does seem like AMD is lacking atm. i don't need too much beef, just enough to keep indie games chunking on for the next like 6-7 years without being glued to an outlet (i've got a desktop for more demanding stuff)

just tell Israel that Hamas is hiding in the fabs and collect the insurance money

what even is the point of Intel anymore
