Maybe the answer is to debunk and combat reactionary takes while not ceding the idea/subject.
This is correct, but also something being attractive to reactionary's should give you pause for concern, and definitely you should put some thought into asking yourself why that is. At the very least in articulating where your viewpoint diverges from theirs.
