    If you read the thread another user "coached" OP how to disguise the language by changing normal to common, which is BS. It's not common at all.

      uh no. fuck off. its not coaching the language. stating that its a common thing if it is statistically true is important to do, because it enables society to address the issue and prevent abuse.

      sweeping common and extremely bad things under a rug is bad.

      so is normalizing them by calling them "normal" which implies they are a default state.

      There's literally no way for me to talk to you about this without looking like I'm defending hebephilia and that's why its really crappy for all the context to get ripped from this. I don't have an opinion on how common this is. I'm not a scientist. All I know is that he cited some numbers - so you might want to argue with him about it. For the record I didn't upvote him in that thread.
