      My results weren't as random as that, but it was entirely shaped about how I felt at the time. Mood: "I'm not always social, but I want to be more social." Result: "Extrovert." Mood: "People suck and tire me out." Result: "Introvert." Similar with the others - get a result I don't like? Retake the test and answer differently on questions I wasn't sure about - BAM! opposite result.

      There're definitely different personality types, but it's hard to fit them into a simple system. They're a little help if you want to understand yourself (a useful exercise, if not taken to extremes), but they're no substitute for life experience or just talking to more people. The measure of a person is other people.

        IMO the intro/extro and thinking/feeling dimensions are the least important parts of the test and can be completely ignored

        I think the other parts might have something behind them tho

      I've gotten ENFP, then ENTP, then ENFP again, then INTP. I may have dissociative identity disorder.

        That's probably it, I do a lot of "mostly agree" because who the hell has absolute certainty about all aspects of their character
