Album is not free, but I'd like to download it anyways. Any good solutions for that yet? It's obscure and not on Soulseek - but maybe youtube as well? Bandcamp seems easiest, but if no luck with that, whats your favorite YouTube Downloader for music?

If it's that obscure and you can afford it I would suggest buying it to support the small artist.

Out of curiosity, what is it?

love is also a small artist obscure musician with albums on bandcamp, almost all name your price.
love has been going through employment troubles and reached out in the mutual aid community for help.
don't mean to speak for loves, but probably safe to assume love would buy if budget allowed, and this is a way to get around that in the meantime.

Totally understand, I didn't know love was in the industry, that's awesome!. Also, not trying to belittle anyone for not being able to purchase the album outright, this is just more normal suggestion whenever pirating small artists comes up.

Sorry if my comment came off insensitive, and thanks for the context.

get it from the label, it’s the same thing and they offer name your own price including free for the FLAC and 320 mp3s with tags and art as zip downloads. https://grindwarrecords.bandcamp.com/album/encierro-doomsday-still-bleeds-red

    https://cobalt.tools/ does youtube well
runs on yt-dlp (which can also be run in a local terminal)
https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp (many gui online if you want local)
local install also works with many online streaming sites include bandcamp

if bandcamp page preferred can add direct download buttons with a userscript
    https://violentmonkey.github.io/
    https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/20719-bandcamp-download-mp3s
or win/wine program (with full tags, lyrics, album art automatically)
    https://github.com/Otiel/BandcampDownloader

invidious instances have download options for audio (if not disabled) which can be handy since the bot here essentially provides music download links automatically

jdownloader2 is a great download manager with selectable youtube options but the linux version isn’t as good as the windows version

    Batchcamp browser extension for Chrome

Edit: oh you meant piracy.. Honestly, if you can afford it and they're not rich as fuck, consider buying it? Like, you said it's obscure. Obscure musicians need your support (hi, I'm an obscure musician)

I'm off of youtube DLs. The quality is noticeably low. I only download lossless FLACs. When I wanna stock up on music, I get trial subscriptions to Qobuz and Deezer for lossless music and Soundiiz to convert my playlists of lossy music to playlists on Qobuz and Deezer. I use qobuz-dl and deemix-gui to then download literal terabytes of music. Albums, my playlists, premade playlists. I tag and replay gain them with musicbrainz picard and and play them all over the house using Lyrion Music Player, formally Logitech Media Center. I looked, the album you're looking for is on both Qobuz and Deezer. Deezer has more young hip music, Qobuz has more high res masters.
