Some of the neoliberal goons at my work were hand wringing over how this VP choice won't bring in any moderate Republicans - as if those even fucking exist.

I like how far the overton window has been pushed right that a guy who doesn't want to put white women in breeding camps to make race soldiers is a 'moderate'.

And of the handful that do, 95% of them are in deep blue or deep red states anyway. I think those types are less worried about Kamala losing because she didn’t get the Bloombergian Republicans and more worried that she’ll win without them.

Liberals have literally ate shit for nearly a decade trying to find their mythical "moderate republicans"

If they were moderate they wouldn't be republicans. There's already a place for conservatives who don't wanna spend their days doing transvestigations, it's the dnc.

would be really funny if dems lose the election because white suburbanites thought tim walz was too progressive

if the mythical voter is actually moderate enough to consider voting bloo then him being a seemingly kindly old white guy actually might bring in some who fear kamala (due to racism or fox news consumption). Beating them at bloodthirstiness otoh never works
