      the thing is, even if it was a lie, the mere implication that the metropole might reduce its full-throttle ideological cover and material support of the genocidal colony in the midst of this expanding, mutating conflict could be devastating to the extensive credit markets and shadow banking relationships that prop up the colony and finance its kickbacks and money laundering schemes.

      not to mention those antagonistic to the colony might be inspired to take action too.

      there's a reason support for the colony within the metropole is so extreme and hardline. it represents desperation.

    DNC: We want the violence to stop! This is unacceptable, this is not who we are.

    Also the DNC: Here are more tools and resources to allow for more even greater violence. This is acceptable. This is exactly who we are, even if we'd like to think different. We fundamentally know and understand this is who we are, but we just like to feel bad about it sometimes..
