Will the site still take new submissions or are they being uploaded someplace else? I don't want to miss out on new game translations.
I read the tweets by Aeon Genesis guy, who seems to not be a bigot, and they depicted RomHacking.Net site owner as being kinda' stupid and self-sabotaging with no real plan for how to hand the site off and make it more robust than this. Seems like some internet nazis were also harassing him and trying to trick him into handing them the site (somehow???) because he had some very mild "no bigotry"-style censorship for entries on the site. A rival site by the CDromance guy was started forevor ago as an alternative/backup but that guy's politics are already kinda' lumpen/4chan-esque (has left and defended people leaving degen lolicon comments on his site) and 2 of the people working on that site, RomHackingO-something were DDOsing/attacking romhacking.net and being worse bigots than Spike/CDRomance is/was.
Last I heard, they are no longer taking new submissions.
Probably gonna be balkanized between www.gbatemp.net forums, www.pokecommunity.com , and subreddits. Anyone got other sites that look like likely refuges?

God damn it, now romhacks and translations are going to be even more scattered to the wind.
They will post news, but that's it.. I'm hoping some people make a new site or at least somewhere central to post new romhacks. Their forums are still up too iirc, but for how long is the question..

Me to, there's still projects out there being worked on and idk where they will share them. I hate how shit like this gets broken up into a million different subforums and discords for information.
It's a problem with some toxicity unfortunately then ruins it for everyone else. I do hope the community can come together to centralise it somewhat to make it easier to find stuff. They may post a new site on their news section or if romhacks come out but it's not really clear going forward how things are going to pan out.
