Yoooooo I did the SAME THING myself a few weeks back at occupy city hall. There was a little keychain spritzer thing left on the ground next to my comrades' tent for days, and we were cleaning up around camp so I picked it up and was like oh cool, hand sanitizer.

Sprayed my hand, and it was NOT hand sanitizer lmao. Super direct hit obviously and some got in the air as well, so I was sneezing and my nose was red as hell for a long ass time, as was my poor hand of course. Burned like hell and lasted for literal hours, that was some strong police-grade type shit!

I've been sprayed by the pigs before, but never so directly; one time was on the goggles (we keep us safe!), another time they were just spraying the air and letting the wind carry it to people so it wasn't nearly as bad.

Who needs the cops when you can self-mace lmao. Ouch
