    Indeed. I did say later that Israel and Jews (and Judaism by implication) have nothing to do with each other. I actually thought I typed it more explicitly, but I've ranted about this shit so many times in the past months that I just get tired of typing the same thing.

    My only point with that specific piece was how extra racist or whatever you wanna call it that white Christians, evangelicals or otherwise, were coming out on Twitter and shit being like "wow! If you aren't Jewish right now you need to stfu!" Just the full buy-in on the idea that if your perceived "racial group" isn't involved, and you "take a side," then that is inappropriate. I honestly thought most people had moved on past really believing in like "scientific race" as in really truly believing there are differences between white Europeans, Jews, Arabs, etc. but uh, I guess at least on the topic of Israel specifically, many people definitely have not. On the whole, I'm not all the surprised, but in individual moments I can't help but just scream in my head "holy fuck, we're fucked!"
