When I got out, I nearly fainted on a seat, feeling weak, couldn't walk or see for a few minutes, head felt like shit (lack of oxygen)

2 of my friends were there trying to keep me up

If it makes you feel any better, I once ruined a pool party as a kid with my baseball team by cannonballing into the deep end, getting a charlie horse while also not being a great swimmer, everyone thinking I was doing a bit for a couple awkward moments, then some kid's dad jumping in and fishing me out before I drowned. Completely killed the vibe. Still think of it sometimes and painfully cringe and it was like, 17 years ago?

Hot tubs can be super dangerous and most people are totally unaware of it. Lots of people die in them, it's much more common than you'd think. The heat dilates your blood vessels quickly and your blood pressure drops, then you pass out and drown if no one is watching.

Never set the temp over 104 F (100 is way more safe), avoid using them alone, and try not to stay in for more than 15 minutes, especially if you have issues with low blood pressure.

Drinking while in a hot tub is very dangerous. That’s how a family friend passed away, my memory is fuzzy but I believe she had a heart attack/stroke getting out of the hot tub after drinking in there with her boyfriend for a few hours.

if i feel light headed i put my head down, like double over, or you could just lie down, work with gravity, not against it
