Does this mean if we used AI to generate content that is similar to content that Amazon owns, and then publish it as Jeff Bezos, Amazon would let us?
It only works when you're fucking with people too unimportant or unconnected enough to push back.
Oh my god. In one way, this is hilarious... in another, tragic.
Well, I know what I'm doing this weekend.
I don't know how anyone can look at something made with AI and think it's actually good or has any artistic merit. For a laugh, sure. Or maybe you want a quick portrait for your DND character. But they don't look good and they're not well written when you take a moment to actually look at it.
lmao
best way to get this fixed is probably to weaponize it against bigger names
jk rowling, grr martin, obama, whatever
as zifnab said, It only works when you're fucking with people too unimportant or unconnected enough to push back.
Brb, trademarking my author name because Jesus Christ is this something else
If someone used my name to sell hundreds of books, I'd add it to my CV. I could bullshit my way into getting a better job by claiming I'm a successful author of 36 books and counting.
Silver linings.
the people with "real jobs" who think the AI stuff is funny have been spat on by the creative PMC class all their lives and told that their jobs were all going to be automated away. It is a little ironic that automation is actually coming for writers and artists before it comes for manual labor
