Popular shadow library LibGen appears to be struggling with technical problems. Regular book downloads stopped working last weekend and remain unavailable. The reason for the issues are unknown but, for now, internal troubles at the site seem more likely than a copyright-related enforcement action.

Starting last weekend, regular LibGen downloads suddenly stopped working. The outage suggests that there’s a problem with the storage servers, but there’s no official explanation.
The lack of communication doesn’t come as a complete surprise. A few months ago, the site already appeared to have some internal struggles. The person in charge of the site’s coding has reportedly been ‘inactive’ for a while.
This personnel issue may explain the database errors and technical trouble that resulted in broken functionality a few months back. It may also explain why new torrents are not being added on a weekly or daily basis. Presently, the latest torrent archive on the site dates back to April.
Piracy is the sort of thing that never dies. Someone will find a way to host books for the world if libgen dies

piracy is hard to kill because its the basic human instinct of sharing and helping others. i'm sure they will actually have to seize it if they want to keep it down.

It also has an explicit continuation of sci-hub's mission called SciDB
Libgen is such an invaluable resource, I dearly hope we don't lose it
I guess I switched from libgen.rs to libgen.pm at some point and never realized it but .pm seems to be working for me for the moment.
Are there ways to support these book repos using something like torrent seeding or some other p2p system? I have a lot of storage and good proxy setups.

When you press on the get button from .is that goes to library(.)lol it doesn't connect. And .li seems to be working for some books but not the new one I uploaded.
Oh yeah I see that now. Hopefully it gets fixed soon . There have been issues like this in the past too
Anna's archive has been acting funky as of lately too with the waitlist shenanigans.
