I never go there but I have a gift card and I need to go there to replace some garlic naan that I stole from my dad
edit: I have completed my trip to Trader Joes and got:
Garlic Naan x2
Roasted Vegetable Pizza
Chocolate Pretzels
Roasted Cashews (50% less salt)
Mango Smoothie
Aloe Vera Juice
Chili & Lime Chips
Moroccan Mint Green Tea
Soft & Juicy Mango
PS the cashier was very pretty
Smoked salmon ends and pieces
Sweet plantain chips
Sweet and juicy dried mango
Their freezer section has a lot of good stuff, desserts, snacks, and dinner items. Their orange juice is also a favorite of mine.
the jerk seasoned plantain chips are great.
OH WAIT they have some of the best vegan ice cream. Try the chocolate ice cream made with coconut milk. Actually super fucking good. And its super cheap, for vegan ice cream.
Their 1 dollar canned drinks
I like the sparkling coconut water with yuzu. The sparkling pineapple and watermelon juice are pretty good too
Their store brand Dijon mustard is worth a look. Got a decent little kick. They also occasionally have a bunch of interesting vegan dips. I got a vegan buffalo dip and some kind of vegan salmon dip that were both great.
One of my favorite items is, Trader Joe's kringle. It is a wisconson pastry that is usually seasonal. They fly it in from one bakery. There are several different flavors. My favorite is the pumpkin one during fall.
Also good are, the Zhong sauce, the Double dipped chocolate biscotte, the habanero potato chips, the frozen french green beans, finally the Shawarma Chicken Thighs.
They have some pretty good chocolate bars. Also the tofu "cuties" ice cream bars. Been a hot minute since I've been to a Trader Joes though.
Apple juice and I bet you’ll find a few things that sound good in the freezer area
tjs has the best price on nuts i can find. or at least it did when i looked in like 2017 lol
Death to America
got some roasted cashews! with 50% less salt because the regular ones are way too salty
I always buy:
Moroccan mint tea - my daily drinker.
Lasagna - the best frozen one out there. It's cheaper than the others and tastes almost as good as homemade.
Margherita pizza - Also the best frozen pizza I've had. The 3 cheese is solid as well.
Chocolate babka - a really good pastry
Multigrain bread - bread
Peony candles - their candles are seasonal and you can only find these around spring, but they're the best floral scent I've had in a candle at the cheapest price- $4 here. I don't care for the summer candles.
Murasaki purple sweet potatoes - These aren't the proper Japanese variety, but they're the closest you can get cheaply in North America. They're much richer than other sweet potatoes, with a chestnutty taste. I pretty much only use these.
Sipping chocolate - Generally I make Mexican hot chocolate, but this is so much better than other American hot chocolates. It's thicker and has a way better taste.
Orange and teriyaki chicken, as well as the frozen Indian meals. All of the Asian options are nice, the taquitos are great, and the pesto pasta is a staple.
The floral section is pretty good and I normally grab a cheap bouquet and some eucalyptus for my shower. Sometimes they have nice houseplants.
got the Moroccan tea because you suggested it and it does sound good. as a fan of both green tea and mint tea I figure I'll love it
also got a pizza but its the roasted vegetable kind instead since I've had that one before and like it
