I love the Matrix. I thought "The Architect" was really cool and I thought it would have been interesting for it (him? it's a computer program idk) interact with the "The Analyst". Designing large systems of control and optimization of control patterns and behavior through micro algorithmic changes could have been a rich source of their dialogue. That dichotomy really could have given the "The Analyst" something to contrast itself with to elevate it as a villain.
Though I'm still of the belief the Matrix 4 wasn't made to succeed, it was made to give Lana a happy ending for her character she and her sister made, which is totally fine.
