Whos playing it? What do you think so far? im enjoying jt, its not like 10/10 and it has its problems, but its a fun monke God Of War/Souls hybrid.
I've been looking forward to it for a long time but after trying to play Dragon's Dogma 2, I can't deal with another game with poor performance, so am waiting for some patches (which DD2 never got). I'm also very turned off by the prerelease stuff the devs sent out and comments about their work culture. So I'll likely pirate it when I get the chance.

Why did they even bother? Don't they know westerners are literally the most racist and uncooperative people to work with?
Unfortunately many are following it at the moment because the no Feminism thing. They'll change later of course.

It's an event early in Journey to the West. All attempts to get Wukong under control have failed. The palaces of heaven are in dissarry, there's poop everywhere. The celestial beings finally ask the Buddha to step in. The Buddha picks Moneky King up in his palm. MOnkey King is like "screw this bs, i'm out!" And jumps like 10,000 li away, landing next to a massive pillar. figuring he's good, he trots over to the pillar to have a piss. then he looks up, and up, and over, and over, and realizes that the pillars are Buddhas fingers, he's still trapped in Buddha's palm, and he's boned.
I swear they made reference to this in so show in one of the episodes.

I liked the part where the professor gets addicted to day trading and loses all his money, very realistic tragedy I didn't finish the dunkey video though.
I just watched a trailer and it seems okay, but there's just nothing less exciting than these soulslikes, especially when they focus on the combat and not on the exploration/dungeons, which is why I play these games in the first place.
I think the game is more like Nioh than it is like Dark Souls/Elden Ring. Idk if you'd call that soulslike, they're more in the strain of like Devil May Cry.
The only wukong I respect is an offlane support.

It looks like another pretty good game that is being latched onto by the the worst people insisting it’s amazing.
Like Stellar Blade, Hogwarts Legacy and probably a few other games.
