Usually try and stick to business news as it's more dry and since business people are the actual world leaders since we don't live in a democracy, they get relatively accurate (but still biased) news served right up for them. Al-Jazeera English is decent on global issues, but obviously will turn a blind eye when it's in the Qatari interest. TeleSur is good on Latin America. It's worth checking on the CNN or NYT front pages so that you know what the libs are seeing.

Telesur and the Grayzone. Sucks that even Democracy Now! puts out imperialist propaganda.

Agreed - right now she is intent on bringing chomsky out as much as possible to convince people to vote for biden lol... but in general i think yeah a pretty decent high-level summary of global events if you tune in every few days

I know this will get me hung for being a lib, but I actually quite like The Guardian.

Also, I'm in canada, and we have a publicly-funded online newspaper, CBC News. It definitely has some issues, like racism in its hiring practices, and its need to pander to the right on occasion to not piss off the chuds too much.

But the right here calls it 'fake news', because it's actually pretty dece. Being publicly funded, it can kinda just... report. And it does the whole 'journalistic standards' pretty well, which inevitably tilts it leftward. Idk, it's the best we have here in terms of major news sources, for sure!

Otherwise, chapo.chat as I've given up entirely on reddit hahahaha

Ya, these are all true statements. I was speaking in a relativistic sense, compared to the rest of the canadian media landscape, but you're right.

The same here in the netherlands. Some chuds complained so hard that they got some free airtime and even after that they still call it biased. Nothing can change that i guess. Pandering is useless.

Yes! The Chud Party here is always trying to go after CBC's funding, because they understand the truth hurts their cause. It's like... you are already considered an enemy by the chuds, just be real hahaha. C'est la vie!

They have a website where you can "report" left leaning news to them, so they can... post and complain about it lol. Its all so stupid

I just listen to Novarra to keep up with things in the UK. Occasionally I read the Guardian when I want to read some dumb lib takes.
