Rosa Luxemburg's socialism was shaped by a deep internationalism, much of which she imbibed from her Jewish upbringing in what was then known as 'Russian Poland.'
what's the point of this statement? Rosa was a principled, dedicated communist who gave her life fighting for socialism. If her revolution failed, it's probably a mix of conditions out of her control and tactical, strategic, and/or theoretical errors on her and her parties behalf. I believe we can learn from the latter precisely because we should pay attention to the revolutions that do fail and not speak ill of them for making errors that are in hindsight obvious.

i guess she wasn't principled and dedicated enough.
