From this comment... it's just so much: "I hope you and the other commenter both someday achieve the maturity to look back on this conversation and be embarrassed. I further hope you'll move beyond embarrassment and realize that it's part of growing up to make mistakes like that."

    Condescending dipshit liberals cosplaying socialists.

They banned me from half the midwest instance for some of the mildest critique ever so now I just tell them to go fuck themselves and be done with it whenever they do that smug shit acting like the only adult in the room and trying to have "nuuuuaaaannnceee" when it comes to fucking genocide and police brutality in response to protesting against said genocide.

"he sent in these jack booted thugs to crack the skulls of protesters against police brutality"

but he didn't actually say the words "crack skulls"???

Liberals care more about words and spin than material reality, and can't or won't even openly admit their positions (in this case "it's actually good that tim walz sent in the national guard and state patrol to crack down on protesters").

Impossible to have a conversation about like, the physical events that happened because they jump to "but the republicans are saying X and Y". Nobody cares!

A gish gallop is lying so fast that by the time whoever you're arguing with manages to refute all your lies the conversation has already been over for a while

It's a modern term (named after creationist Duane Gish) for an old-as-dirt oral debate tactic: spew as much bullshit, lies, half-truths and occasional facts as you can in order to bamboozle your audience, as well as put your debate opponent into a position of needing to debunk your nonsense rather than argue their own points.

A more modern name for the tactic could be a Shapiro Stampede kubrick-stare
