What a fucking idiot, this ain't a freeze peach thing!

twitter refused to block certain accounts, iirc from right wing politicians that were breaking electoral law. Brazil, unlike the usa, is a serious country with lots of rules ang regulations abt election campains, when they can start and what can be said

Musk threw a fit cause he's a little weirdo crybaby that wants to lead the world fascist movement. He didn't comply with the orders, and when fines were levied he decided to close twitter's offices in brazil to get around the law. but corps must have a legal representative in Brazil to operate in Brazil. So Xandão (big xande, the supreme court justice) issued a new order: comply with the law and appoint a representative, otherwise we're taking twitter offline. And here we are, this mf and other like him are a useful pawn for us imperialism

USians liberals really hate anything left from the Democratic party. Funniest shit is that Lula da Silva didn't have anything to do with this. This is all Musk's fault, and he is attempting to remove a conservative judge that was installed in the Supreme Court by an US puppet after the 2016 coup. If they remove Alexandre de Moraes it will give Lula the chance to put another leftist judge in the court, probably making the court with 4 leftist judges, 2 liberals, 2 conservatives and 1 far-right (who is too much of a coward to vote against the others).

Choose not to believe in the legitimacy of the laws all you want, unless you got a Brazilian sized army you can’t doubt the legitimacy of their ability to enforce those laws.

The only free speech that matters is the Burgerland interpretation where saying "cis" on Twitter gets you banned. billionaire-tears bridget-pride-stay-mad

You can praise hitler, call for violence on vulnerable people and doxx others but saying cis is the worst crime

I'm just about certain that the daughter that disowned King Bazinga said "cis" in a way that got under King Bazinga's skin at some point and consequently King Bazinga has been wailing from that narcissistic injury ever since.

Have liberals not spent ages crying about the views promoted on shitter ever since Elon took over? Oh wait, that only ever matters when it comes to supporting Trump.

The Kingdom of Conscience will be exactly as it is now. Moralists don't really have beliefs. Sometimes they stumble on one, like on a child's toy left on the carpet. The toy must be put away immediately. And the child reprimanded. Centrism isn't change -- not even incremental change. It is control. Over yourself and the world. Exercise it. Look up at the sky, at the dark shapes of Coalition airships hanging there. Ask yourself: is there something sinister in moralism? And then answer: no. God is in his heaven. Everything is normal on Earth.

On its face you don't have to believe anything besides believing that breaking Brazilian law will incur penalties with the Brazilian law. I don't have any working context, but that makes sense to me because my brain is kinda wrinkly.

Doesn't Musk do whatever the Saudis and other right wing autocracies ask? Does this guy think Saudis have more legitimacy than Brazil?

the ban has nothing to do with speech and if he had named a legal representative like they'd asked him to they would have let him keep promoting whatever he wanted.
